A 62-year-old woman found Wednesday with 30 pounds of marijuana at her Jackson home told authorities it was for medical use. Deputies seized the marijuana along with crack cocaine, ecstasy pills and a handgun inside the home and a stolen 2008 Lexus from the back yard. The drugs have a street value of about $200,000.
