Sleazy Deputy Bought Marijuana With Stolen Patient I.D.
A California deputy has admitted using a doctor’s recommendation and stolen identity from a legal medical marijuana patient in order to buy pot in a drug sting. Deputy Steve Avila of the Calaveras County Sheriff’s Department admitted he had used the patient’s recommendation to persuade a dispensary owner to sell marijuana to an officer.

In charges stemming from a months-long undercover investigation of the Unalaska drug trade, police have charged a production manager for the hit cable TV show “Deadliest Catch” with using and selling cocaine.
Police say they seized more than $80,000 worth of methamphetamine, OxyContin, cocaine and marijuana in two separate investigations…
